ROME

...

Rome.
Coming from England, I am used to being surrounded by greens, greys, blues and darker colours; even in the Summer. Rome was so different. Creams, rusty, dirty reds and the sun, were all I could see. Sun, everywhere. The drivers were ludicrous and daring, and there were markets, with people selling things on the streets everywhere. There was always a constant chatter and noise in the air, from the morning, all the way to the evening. The streets were full, of litter and the the heat was so heavy. You could feel it on your skin, but you kind of get used to it. I went to the Spanish Steps, and one of the most memorable part of that outing, was all of the art that had been on the walls of the train station. It was gorgeous, so urban and freeing. It gave that area specifically, much more character and life. Rome, is definitely worth your money The colours, the food, the music, the markets and its flaws, give the city so much flavour. It would definitely be an experience, that you would never forget.
