DIY: IRON ON PATCHES

My first DIY on here! Today, I'm going to teach you all, how to sew on, or iron on patches. I unfortunately threw away the instructions to my patches, and I didn't realise that I couldn't sew them onto my jacket, until I failed to poke the needle through it. I also failed to photograph the iron, so I'll just make a list of all the necessary equipment that you'll need:

• Iron/Needle and thread
• Thread that matches the colour of your patches
• Your patches
• What you want to sew your patches onto. Eg, a denim jacket

If you are using thread, get thread that matches your patch like so, then place your patch where you'd like it to be on your item of clothing, or whatever you are sewing your patch onto.

Once you have sorted out where you want your patch to be, then begin to either sew it on, using small neat stitches round the perimeter of your patch. If you're ironing on your patch, follow the instructions that came with your patch. Unfortunately, I lost mine or threw them away unknowingly, so I just took a risk and put the iron on the patch for a couple of minutes and it worked!
